  • Although all Moz community accounts have limited access to the free API with a valid credit card, paid API plans are separate from Moz Pro and Moz Local. View the Moz API Pricing and Plans.
  • Free access allows for one request every ten seconds, up to 2,500 rows per month. When using Links V1 with free API access, some endpoints and metrics are restricted. Please see our V1 Free API Access guide for more information.
  • Yes, we require a valid credit card in order to start your free API access.
  • In some cases a small amount of overage will be allowed on the free plan, you will not be charged. We only charge overage for paid API plans.

  • Yes, you can still access and make calls to the Links V1 endpoints. Please see our Links API V1 Endpoints guide for more information.
  • You can monitor your API usage from your account here or via the Usage Data Endpoint.
  • The URL Metrics endpoint allows you to pull this data in bulk for a set of URLs. You can read more about this in our URL Metrics guide.
  • Some Links V2 endpoints are weighted, meaning they consume more rows per call based on the call parameters. For more information about which endpoints are weighted and how they are calculated, please see our Weighted Endpoints guide.
