If you’ve entered a domain into the Domain Authority Checker tool and see the message Bummer! No data found for this domain, there are a few different reasons this may have happened.
1. We’re not able to find ranking keywords data for this domain
In order for the Domain Authority Checker tool to return data, we must be able to find ranking keywords in our corpus for the domain queried. This portion of the tool is powered by the Ranking Keywords section of the Keyword Explorer tool.
We track a lot of keywords—over 500 million!—but occasionally you might rank for keywords that aren't in our corpus. Typically, these are lower-volume keywords. Never fear, this doesn't mean you don't rank, only we haven't tracked the keyword. In this case, there is nothing you need to do. If your domain starts ranking for higher-volume keywords, we'll typically pick these up.
If you’re seeing the Bummer! No data found for this domain and you suspect it is due to us not being able to find ranking keywords for the domain, you can head over to Keyword Explorer to double check. Or, head over to Link Explorer to do some link research.
