Sharing User Access

Frequently Asked Questions

  • No, the shared user functionality is intended as a collaboration tool, which is why shared users have unfettered access to all your Campaigns and Moz Pro research tools.
  • No, only the primary account holder can access the billing information and invoices. The only workaround at the moment would be to change your primary email address to the billing contact you wish to use where they can access full billing details and invite a secondary user to only have access to Campaign data.
  • Only the primary account holder has the ability to add/manage seats on a subscription. If you are a seated user on another account, you will not be able to add additional seated users. The best course of action would be to reach out to your primary account holder and request they add additional users on your behalf.

Share Your Moz Subscription With a Colleague

You can share account access to your Moz Pro subscription with coworkers without dishing out your super secret password details by adding them as a Shared User, this is also called a Seat. You can give shared access to anyone, however they will need to set up a free Moz Community account with the email you have shared access with in order to access the subscription.

The number of available users is determined by your subscription level and you can check your remaining allowance from within your account. The account owner always takes up the first seat of every account. If you require more seats you may need to upgrade your account, please check our pricing page for more details.
