Rankings Settings

Search Engine Settings

Under Search Engine Settings, you’ll be able to choose and set your default search engines. Setting an engine as the default just lets us know that this is the data you want to prioritize on pages that have single search engine data results like your Campaign Dashboard and the default view for your Rankings Overview. This also determines which country's data will be displayed for keywords tracked at the National level.

The Search Engine Settings can be adjusted using the drop-downs provided.

Keep in mind that at least one of the engines needs to be a Google English Language engine if you want Landing Pages data. If you want mobile rankings data, make sure you choose the Google Mobile option and then the region for which you want mobile rankings data.

Manage Labels

Under your Manage Labels, you can add new labels, or select and delete labels from your Campaign.

You can delete or add new labels for you entire Campaign.

Manage Brand Rules

Brand rules are a way to differentiate your Branded keywords from the rest so you can track your brand strength. Adding a term to your Brand Rules will apply a yellow Branded Label to all keywords that contain that term so you can sort and filter by brand keywords. Keep in mind that Brand Rules aren’t keywords, they are labels for existing keywords, so you will want to make sure you add a keyword that includes that brand before creating the rule.

To get started, you can type in a brand of yours and then choose whether you want to include this as a Brand Rule or exclude it.

Click add rule to add a new brand rule to your Campaign.

There is a limit of 10 brand rules for each Campaign. If you want to delete brand rules, just click the checkbox and then hit the Delete button.

Put each keyword or keyword phrase in its own rule (please, no lists in one rule!) and keep keyword phrases concise and specific to your brand.

If you need to manage your tracked keywords, you can do so in the Rankings section of your Campaign. Please see our guides on how to add keywords and delete keywords for more information.
