Frequently Asked Questions

  • The status you see in Top Pages isn't a live query, it's based on the data in our Link Index and the information we gathered the last time we attempted to crawl and access those pages. If they have been updated/changed since we last crawled those pages, those updates won't be reflected in your backlink data in Links until we attempt to crawl those pages again. Please read our guide on how we index the web.

Find Your Site's Top Pages in Your Moz Pro Campaign

Location of Top Pages in the left hand navigation menu.

In your Moz Pro Campaign select Links > Top Pages from the menu on the left.

From here you can analyze the most valuable pages based on key metrics, like Page Authority, for your tracked site and competitors. Check your Campaign Settings to see the sites you're tracking.

If you want to research another URL or site that you're not tracking, you can click on Research another site link in Link Explorer to go directly to Link Explorer.

You can export your data to PDF or CSV on the top right.

View Links

Click on the magnifying glass option under View Links. This will take you to the Inbound Links tab in Link Explorer and filter the results to show you links to that exact page.

Click the magnifying glass to the right to see the links we've found pointing to that page.

Sort by Status Code

You can also choose to sort Top Pages by HTTP status code. This can be particularly useful if you’re looking to identify pages pointing to broken links or ones returning a server error.

Use the drop-down to filter by status code and identify links to broken pages.

Domain Authority (DA) - Domain Authority is a Moz proprietary metric from 1-100 which predicts how well a domain will rank in Google based on a machine learning algorithm of link metrics.
Page Authority (PA) - Page Authority is a Moz proprietary metric from 1-100 which predicts how well a page will rank in Google based on a machine learning algorithm of link metrics.
Inbound Links (backlinks) - An incoming link from a page on another website back to your own site.
Linking Domains (Total Linking Root Domains) - Number of unique root domains linking to a target. Two links from the same website will only be counted as one linking root domain.
