How do I update my credit card?

  • If you receive the message that There was an error processing your payment info: Your card information is incorrect please try re-entering your card information. If you still receive this error after confirming your card information, please reach out to your bank for resolution as they may be declining the transaction. Alternatively, you can try a different card.
  • Our free trial is free to use, however in some cases your card will be authorized which may require an authorization charge of up to $1. This is then instantly voided. We may also do an authorization charge when a new credit card is entered on your account to ensure the new card is valid. This helps to prevent an interruption in your service due to an invalid card being entered. If you are not seeing the authorization charge refunded or dropped off your pending transactions for your credit card, we recommend reaching out to your bank directly to see when that will be fully processed.

Updating Your Credit Card

If you’ve received an email letting you know we were unable to process your credit card and you need to update the one on file for your account or if you have a new card you’d like to use moving forward, you can update this information in the Billing Info section of your account.

You can access your Billing Info section and update your credit card information via https://moz.com/billing or by following the steps below:

Click replace under billing info to update your billing information.
  1. From the circle icon on the top right, click Account & Billing to head to your Subscriptions Summary page

  2. From the blue navigation bar at the top of the screen, click Billing info

  3. Under Billing Information your payment methods should be listed - click Replace to the right to be taken to a screen to enter your new credit card information

It says that my account is manually invoiced- what do I do?

If your account is currently listed as manually invoiced and you would like to pay by credit card moving forward, please email help@moz.com with the following information:

  • The primary email address associated with the account

  • The billing address associated with the account
