  • Hello! I hope someone can help me...I've researched my keywords (long and short tail) for my articles but they are showing up as no ranking keywords. It looks like I've only got a few of my 15 articles which actually have keywords within - and I'm not sure why! Please can someone advise? https://www.el-well.com/helping-your-parents-declutter-their-home/ Thank you.

  • I've been doing some keyword research and i've found a few gems. My site is currently sat at a 18 domain authority up from 12, so it's great to see the improvement. Although I was wondering, if my domain authority is sat a 18, can I compete with keywords that have a difficulty of 50-60? Any help would be greatly appreciated 🙂 Sam

    labels keywords upload

Hi, I would like to update all my keyword labels via a .csv upload, however, when I try to upload the keyword file with the updated labels, I'm advised I don't have enough keywords left for the import. Am I using the correct upload tool or is there a way around this, please?

  • snippet

Where can I go in MOZ to view Google snippets that I am not currently tracking? I noticed a client is listed on a snippet but MOZ shows 0 snippets. I am also fairly confident given organic traffic data that this snippet has been listed for a while.

  • Hi Everyone! I just transitioned into SEO in the medical spectrum and have never come across such long names. In terms of recommendations for character counts in title tags, what would be the recommendation? Write until it gets truncated (which is current state)? Use the abbreviation? Try to ensure the "plain language" words appear towards the front? Any viewpoints would be appreciated!

  • Hello! I am searching for high-ranking keywords through Explore by Site feature. But, it doesn't show me the relevant keywords I'm looking for. Like if I search for "written communication skills" on Google and copy URL of a lower authority domain and paste it into the Explore by Site search bar, it shows the results for "example of proposals", "hardware vs software", and so, but not relevant to written communication. What should I do?

  • So i have a page that sells say hockey sticks and the website is based in Canada. My keyword focus for the page would be hockey sticks Canada. It seems to be proper to have this key phrase within the page text and also at the beginning of the first paragraph. But how do i write a first paragraph with this keyphrase and make it sound natural. My first instinct is to write the paragraph like so Hockey sticks Canada - We provide excellent quality hockey sticks nationwide which come with a 1 year warranty and have exceptional build quality and exceed performance expectations. But it just doesnt sound natural. If i put it as follows Hockey sticks in Canada are well known for their quality and craftmanship. We provide excellent quality hockey sticks nationwide which come with a 1 year warranty and have exceptional build quality and exceed performance expectations. I add "in" into the keyphrase to make it sound more natural to the reader. Would google look at this and count it as pertaining to the keyphrase hockey sticks canada? Anybody have any info into making key phrases count on the page without looking to unatural to the reader?

  • Hi guys, what is the best practice to find the long tail keywords, like Google Instant Suggestion, people also search, or moz keyword explorer I have experienced a lot in MOZ pro Keyword Planner, but now I want to know easiest way to find long tail keywords for my website olehana Makeup, still I'm using just 3 keyword that I already ranked in Google SERP top 3 positions now I also want that some long tail keywords also gets ranked.

  • I'm using wordpress for my blog and yoast plugin for seo. recently i read a tutorial about "long-tail keyword" usage. but i get confused when i want to use them in my blog posts. take this long-tail keyword: best gaming mouse and keyboard for ps4 Imaging i want to use this as my primary keyword(focus keyword) in my blog post. how should i use it in post title and other parts of my article? -should i use it in the exact same order in my title or post?
-how to use it in yoast keyphrase input? should i use exact match of the focus keyphrase in the input? as you know Google is capable of recognizing the separate words from longer search terms, even if the words are not in the exact same order as the query. I searched many days but unfortunately i couldn't find anything about how to use keyword or long-tail keyword inside the article step by step.

  • I am looking for a keyword research tool other than Google Keywords Planner. What other tools can I use to perform great keyword research. I am looking for a tool than will help me to find better keywords for my SEO campaigns. My clients' websites are usually 30-50 pages, so I don't want to buy tools for $20K a year. I am looking for something around $60-$100 per month.

  • How do you find phrases that co-occur together and go in the same cluster. I know that I can do keyword research via the keyword tool as well as other tools and even google related searches but I have the feeling it is very limited. Does anyone have any other advice or tools  ? Once you figure our the correct words / expression is there a way to write your sentences, does syntax have an impact ?

  • Hi Guys, I want to get an opinion/advice on this. My client has a site that have all their products (I am working on expanding the product descriptions, benefits and how they differ from each other) listed and I just want to know if I can use the term 'gear oil' for example on multiple pages as one of the keywords. The product range (among others like transmission fluid and anti-freeze) is gear oil (with the different types of gear oils available described) and I can't really change what the product is. I do have different variations (such as gear lubricant, automotive gear lubricant, car gear oil etc.) but will it do damage if I use the same keyword (like gear oil) on multiple pages (along with another relevant keyword that does not involve the words gear oil)? Any help on this will be greatly appreciated!

  • Hi Mozzers! I do a lot of work in niche areas, and one issue I often confront in keyword research is unknown search volume. That is, I'll be doing keyword research in Keyword Explorer or Gooogle Search Console, and for the most relevant keywords, I find either very low search volumes, null search volumes, or "Data not available." How do I make good keyword planning decisions when I can't find good data for search volume? Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Andy

  • I've been tasked with finding the keywords for our website.  The difficulty I'm finding is receiving help from the fabrication personal to suggest keywords.  I'm not sure if its peoples imagination or if there's a general unwillingness. Can anyone make any suggestions here?  Is there a fabrication or welding keyword database I can put to them and hopefully get their brains working? Or even a way to see what keywords our competitors use?

  • Question - you can see the green positive and the red negative. If I optimize a certain keyword, and it turns red - how long should I wait before I optimize it again? The same with green - I had a keyword ranking up 20 points...which of course is good...should just wait for a a few months or use the keyword again next month? Not use how I should address the ups and downs (green & red) of rankings. thank you..

  • Search intent is the core of writing and content marketing; its essential to know the best answer.  To analyse search intent, I analyse top 10 ranking pages, see which content format is used on top 10 ranking pages and at last asses content angle. My question is, how can I come up with a unique content angle that's worth ranking and outrank existing articles and what's the points should I consider while implementing my unique content angle.

  • Hi, I'm doing keyword research for a small site and followed the standard keyword process of using Ahrefs and Google's keyword planner tools to see what keywords are being searched for my service. There are keywords that have a higher avg monthly search volume  but they are aren't as relevant as ones that include the word cheap or affordable for example but those ones are only 300 monthly searches per month which seems very small for the main page of the site. Any advice what I should do in this scenario? Do I choose a more relevant keyword with lower search volume or go for one with much higher avg monthly search volume which is much more competitive?

  • I have an ecommerce site selling only 1 product on subscription. However, I want to offer a free trial of the product on 1 page, and a buy it now on the other, thus 2 pages, but selling exactly the same product. I also thought it would give me the opportunity to rank both pages for separate keywords? Will this strategy work, or should I just look at combining both of these pages into 1 ?  If so, would I then just build out blog content around my keyword list? Many thanks

  • Hey everyone! Complete SEO novice here. I work as the sole content person for an ecommere website with 4,000+ products. I've been trying for months to come up with some sort of SEO strategy, but I'm drowning. Completely drowning. I've been trying to use on-page analytics here at Moz for certain products that get a lot of margin for us. This worked great for awhile, but I haven't seen much progress. And then I jumped to link building and then I jumped to blogging and social, and now I don't know where to focus. I know each and every one of these is important, but I feel like I'm only giving 10% to each instead of 100%. I'm not getting anywhere. I'm just doggy paddling. I am in desperate need of a starting point. And yes, I've read Moz's beginner guide to SEO. I've researched for hours, but nobody seems to have a good starting point for someone trying to optimize a site with 4,000+ products. WHERE DO I START? Category pages? Low-hanging fruit? I feel like I've tried it all. I need some concrete ecommerce advice. Something that gives me a solid game plan as a one-woman show. Do I go brand by brand? Do I go with products with good margin? Do I stop focusing on individual products and go for category pages? I can't wrap my head around an SEO workflow. I'm really looking for ANY advice that can stop my head from spinning with ecommerce SEO. It's completely overwhelming! Thank you in advance!

  • hi dear Moz . When we search for a keyword, it shows us a list of countries. Others, such as SEO tools, do a global search as well.
Can we do this so that when we search for someone's keyword, they will also tell us the search result in Global.
If that happened then there would be no better tool than bananas. I am linking to it. When we look at any data from a website, all the data is found. I have seen that.
