titles length, URL length and meta descriptions on a subdomain effecting SEO on main domain?
-
Hi all,
I am currently evaluating areas for optimization on my main domain. When doing this, Moz has identified multiple titles and urls that should be shortened and missing meta descriptions on my subdomain (a help center of sorts). As far as I am aware, we have not set up any "no-index" rules for this subdomain.
Are these items affecting SEO on my main domain?
Thanks,

Hey friends, 1st I want to introduce best Free SEO Tools website 2022. Here you can test your website and check all SEO optimizations.
Title length, URL length and meta descriptions all are important for top ranking. Sub-domain ranking as per own content data method and main domain ranking another way. But if main domain & sub domain are relevant topic then its help each other.Otherwise main domain & sub domain perform separately. Its depend on many factors like - content, backlink, pagespeed etc.
Don't forget to check your content is unique and not copied. You can check here -> https://free-seo-tools.org/plagiarism-checkerDm it's upto to the point.
Good job. -

@annegretwidmer Hi Kasey
In short, probably not.
Long titles and URLs are not ideal, but they're not the kind of really egregious error that might cause Google to see a site as toxic or very low quality overall. Missing meta descriptions are also possibly a missed opportunity, but not a serious threat.
That said, these issues might be symptomatic of a general excess of unmoderated or poorly maintained pages, which would be a more notable cause for concern.

Looking for suggestion on the percentage of chance our ranking will be negatively affected and by how much? Also what everyones recommendation is if we should make this switch or not touch the urls. 301 Redirects from Subdomain to Location Pages
I have a client site that is getting redesigned. Its a multi location service provider. Currently (for whatever reason) the location pages are sub domains. https://<location-name>.site.com/ In the new design the locations will be on the main domain. https://site.com/locations/<location-name> We are considering using 301 redirects from the current sub domains to the new location pages on the main domain. The current sub domains are setup on a multi-site with A records for each one in our GoDaddy account. Would like to get feedback on any unforeseen SEO issues that anyone might have input on.

How to sunset language subdomains that we don't want to support anymore?
We have a primary domain www.postermywall.com. We have used subdomains for offering the same site in different languages, like es.postermywall.com, fr.postermywall.com etc. There are certain language subdomains that have low traffic and are expensive to get translated. We have decided to sunset 3 subdomains that match that criteria. What is the best way of going about removing those subdomains? Should we just redirect from those subdomains to www.postermywall.com? Would that have any negative impact on our primary domain in Google's eye etc.? Anything other than a redirect that we should be considering?

is the maximum 50-60 characters + the 15 characters brand name Google adds to the end of the title or 50-60 including the addition? Many thanks!

SEO, 301s & backslashes at end of URL
Wordpess started adding "/" (slashes) at the end of my urls and I've left them up for some time. Will removing them hurt search rankings or do I need to do a 301 redirect? For example - www.site.com/page1/ changed to www.site.com/page1 Are there any other ramifications I may not be thinking about besides just search rankings.
