      Hi all,

I'm using the On-Page Grader tool to optimize some of our pages:

      https://analytics.moz.com/pro/research/page-grader?keyword=Russian Immigration Lawyers in Sacramento&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.russianlawyers.us%2Fus%2Fcalifornia%2Fsacramento-immigration

One of the suggestions is "Optimal Use of Keywords in Header Tags". They keyword is "Russian Immigration Lawyers in Sacramento" and we do have it in an

tag on the page (located in the right sidebar). The tool doesnt seem to catch that though. Can someone help me please?

      Thanks

Hi, thanks for the reply. The site is not in Javascript. Its clear HTML/CSS and connected to a PHP backend. The above heading* code that is in question is rendered without Javascript.

            Hi there,

Sam from Moz's Help Team here!

So, I took a look at your Site Crawl results and your site, and I believe this is a result of our crawler's inability to work with Javascript. Any client side loaded content will not be rendered to our crawler as we are only seeing what is rendered by your server.

Our crawler works by parsing the source code of your site, looking at HTML elements. If your site is primarily Javascript, then the data you get back with regards to the crawl report won't be completely accurate because of this. There's no real workaround that I can recommend for this one, since it is a technical limitation of our tools, but there are some good blog posts and discussions in the Q&A about this if you head over to our Help Hub.

While the tools and data that rely on our crawl of your site may not return the best results because of that Javascript, your keyword rankings and link profile should work just fine.

You might also want to check out a few tools that are compatible with Javascript, like Botify or Screaming Frog.
https://www.onely.com/tools/wwjd/ is also a handy tool that makes it super easy to see where links are added or removed by javascript.

I'm really sorry I can't be of more help here; Please let me know if there's anything else I can help with, or if there are any follow-up questions you might have!

Duplicate Content & Title Tag Group Fields on MoZ Report

Hello, On my SEO MOZ exported Site Crawl CSV report, I have columns for Duplicate Content Group & for Duplicate Title Tag Group.  The values in the columns are numerical - 20,  5 ,  15, etc. Can anyone explain to me what these values represent and how I can fix the issues I presume they represent? Thank you,
              Scott

Top pages > PNGs, JPGs & PDFs > What to do?

After exporting Top pages list in Moz Pro, I noticed lots of pages with high PA (page authority) are actually random images (.png & .jpg) and documents (.pdf). Question 1: Should I make a redirect 301 from an image/document to the actual webpage? If not, what should I do to keep the ranking, but point the URL to the correct place? In addition, lots of highly ranking URLs are actually outdated. They are coming from the old website. I switched to the new one more than a year ago. Question 2: If I create a 301 redirect from the old URL to the new one, will I keep the high ranking? Thanks,
              Anja

Blocked Resource in Google Index. SSL certificate blocking 718 pages seen in Google Search Console.

My google search console indicates that my SSL certificate is blocking Googlebot. I was wondering if the blocking of my SSL certificate to the GoogleBot is causing any issues. I I'm not sure if this was only blocked recently by Volusion (my host) as a means of accommodating my ssl certificate not being able to address the various url versions of my site, or is this just commonplace and not really harmful to my indexing. I  tested one of these "blocked" urls in the robots.txt tester and it showed that the Googlebot was allowed. Could it be just the SSL certificate at the bottom of the page is blocked? Thanks

              Too Many On-Page Links Notice

When calculating the number of links on a page, are navigation links included in the total? I have all of my navigation links within the <nav>element. I would think that there are a lot of sites out there that easily exceed the 100 link recommendation if you add up nav and footer links.   </nav>

On page grader not working with Squarespace?

The on page grader tool does not seem to be able to access Squarespace websites.  I've tried several website urls that  are all hosted on square space with the same result "Sorry, but that URL is inaccessible."  Is this a known incompatibility or a bug? examples: lightningjar.agency (a site I manage) flotrend.com (a site that a friend manages) ollymoss.com (a site chosen at random from SquareSpace.com featured websites list)

Puzzled. High domain authority, but low page authority?

I have a question regarding how a page's authority can be low but the domain authority be high. I'm using the SERP report in moz to compare competing pages. The page I'm working on is an ecommerce category page. Moz says it has very low page authority, has been indexed for a little over a year, it's domain authority is a moderate 50, and has no root domains linking to it. It is more relevant than the other pages (has more products for sale that fit the keyword searched for), has a decent amount of copy on the page, but ranks around #10 in the search results. The competing pages are also ecommerce category pages. The 9 ranking higher have domain authority varying from 30-75, and 1 or 2 root domain links to them. Their number of products that match the keyword searched are all over the board, some have many matches, some have only 6 or 8 results. Some have a moderate amount of text on the page, some have very little text on the page. Yet they have page authority in the 30s-40s. What goes into page authority that I'm missing which would make these other pages have so much more authority when they are just slightly better in the other metrics listed above? What am I missing here?

Is it normal for my homepage's page authority to be higher than my domain authority?

Hi everyone, I've just been checking my MOZ authority scores, and the page authority of my home page, www.concerthotels.com is 53 (mozRank of 6.16) which seems pretty good to me.  However, the domain authority is only showing as 45.  Is this typical?  There is such a big difference between these two scores - what does that suggest?  Is there anything obvious that I can do to bring the domain authority up to the level of authority that the homepage commands? Similarly, the UK version of my site has a homepage authority of 41, but the domain authority is only 30.  Looking at numerous other websites, quite often the homepage and domain authority scores are very similar, or the domain authority is slightly higher, so it does look as if this is unusual. Any comments would be greatly appreciated, Many thanks Mike
