      Challenging issue

All the "usual suspects" have been discarded: all pages included in google index, no google penalties, metas optimized, kw's segregated by pages/cluster of pages to avoid cannibalization...

BUT, we know we are missing something

website is www.e-florex.com and is an e-commerce site based on magento

Any ideas you might think are worth exploring?

Thanks in advance for your help

      Juan

          Juan

Thanks for providing the URL. The website is in Spanish which slows me down.

The observation I would make is that though you have some great back links - according to Semrush you do not appear to be ranking in the first few for high volume keywords in your customer category.  I do not have time to review your backlinks but I would review them and see whether you are targeting the right anchor text.

Then secondly I would consider becoming more page focused for the keywords you are targeting.  So get backlink anchor text specific with pages you want to rank for.

ie The below words you do not appear to rank well for. (not sure what any of them mean!)

          Keyword Volume CPC SERP source
          flores 74,000 0.95
          rosario flores 33,100 0.11
          flores de bach 27,100 0.39
          lola flores 18,100 0.09
          florida 12,100

Finally if you have time I would do a competitor analysis - maybe a keyword density check on the keywords you are targeting - see if anything is drastically different from your competitors. Maybe they have great content blogs etc.  I am not sure. I wish I could understand Spanish though!

          All the best.

            Hey Juan,

By conducting the initial analysis, I can conclude that most of the backlinks are pointing to your homepage. Look at the OSE's attached screenshot with this response.

I'd suggest you to apply following things as well,

            1. Implement RichSnippets
            2. In your guest posts (if you're doing), link to your service pages.
            3. Massively promote your service pages on social media
            4. Launch a blog section and produce useful content to target long-tail keywords and link your service pages.
            5. Target your service pages in the paid-advertising.

            Hope this helps!

            Thanks,

            yLBoZ9q

SEO QA automation of large websites

Can you share your experiences in managing SEO QA automation of large websites with millions of pages?
what are the things you are regularly testing for, besides the most obvious - hreflangs/canonicals, robots.txt, sitemap, non-200 status codes, redirect rules?
do you use in-house developed tools or external tools?
              if external - which ones?
how do you run your QA automation scripts? external server or some online tools? upon every release or hourly/daily/monthly?

How can I identify links that point to a specific landing page with a specific anchor text on my own website?

I am trying to identify buttons and links that point to a specific landing page on our website that have a certain word in the anchor text and I would like to know the referring page URL too. Does anybody have an idea on how to do this? We have above a hundred landing pages and I would rather not go through them one by one 😄 Thanks for the help

SEO Implications of firewalls that block "foreign connections"

Hello! A client's IT security team has firewalls on the site with GEO blocking enabled. This is to prevent foreign connections to applications as part of a contractual agreements with their own clients. Does anyone have any experience with workarounds for this? Thank you!

              Multi Store On Page Optimization

We have an online multistore which is running in three different countries. For Example: yourdomain.com yourdomain.com/us-en/ yourdomain.com/wo-en yourdomain.com/ch-fr/ Should I create different meta tags for different stores or should I just use Hreflang Tag? Should we create meta tags for individual store?

Should I noindex the site search page? It is generating 4% of my organic traffic.

I read about some recommendations to noindex the URL of the site search.
Checked in analytics that site search URL generated about 4% of my total organic search traffic (<2% of sales). My reasoning is that site search may generate duplicated content issues and may prevent the more relevant product or category pages from showing up instead. Would you noindex this page or not? Any thoughts?

Should I make multiple landing pages for different cities?

I am trying to market my company to North Carolina & West Virginia. This is a bit of a challenge since the name is "Decorative Concrete of Virginia." My idea was to create landing pages for the specific areas (Greensboro & Raleigh, NC for now).... A new landing page them that I purchased came with a plugin that would allow you to generate a ton of landing pages with little effort by replacing some elements of the landing page, depending on the URL... For example, I have these two URLs set up right now: http://www.decorativeconcreteofvirginia.com/northcarolina/test/raleigh/nc http://www.decorativeconcreteofvirginia.com/northcarolina/test/greensboro/nc My question is... Is merely changing the city in each landing page enough, or should I change some of the other content too? I was going to create one landing page for NC, and then try to include all of the cities on that one page... but perhaps it would be easier to rank if I had one for each city. Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Tim

My landing page changed in google's serp. I used to have a product page now I have a pdf?

I have been optimizing this page for a few weeks now and and have seen our page for up from 23rd to 11th on the serp's. I come to work today and not only have I dropped to 15 but I've also had my relevant product page replaced by this page . Not to mention the second page is a pdf! I am not sure what happened here but any advice on how I could fix this would be great. My site is www.mynaturalmarket.com and the keyword I'm working on is Zyflamend.

Should "View All Products" be the canonical page?

We currently have "view 12" as the default setting when someone arrives to www.mysite.com/subcategory-page.aspx. We have been advised to change the default to "view all products" and make that the canonical page to ensure all of our products get indexed. My concern is that doing this will increase the page load time and possibly hurt rankings. Does it make sense to change all our our subcategory pages to show all the products when someone visits the page? Most sites seem to have a smaller number of products as the default.
