Hi Guys, The keyword I am trying to rank is on seperate page with its own Optimization in place. However  the HOME page of website starts ranking for that keywords . The keyword is mentioned on Home page Just once in content description, that's all. What should be my ideal strategy. Deleting the Sub Page, will that improve the SEO of my home page and improve the Rank for that keyword ? Also I can see my Own YELP pages rank better than the actual website for few terms . Any way around this ? A Part from building links to page ?

If you have several clients, and they are all on the same server, and also under ONE Google Analytics account, will that negatively impact with Google? They all have different content and addresses, some have the same template, but with different images.

Last year with penguin, our rankings took a hit.  We have worked hard, tirelessly, to recover.  Last june we had no social media.  We had an old website.  We completely updated our website to responsive design, over 500k pages.  We post daily fresh content, we expanded into social media.  We now have 100k followers on Facebook.  We are seeing thousands of Google + in the last few months, and not by hiring a single SEO consultant, and we use no ad-words or any paid advertising (except for adsense, limited on our site).  We got thousands of Google +1's simply by sharing content in different circles and they liked us the old fashioned way.  And yet our rankings have actually decreased.  Just Saturday night, suddenly rankings that were on page 2 of Google dropped to page 5.  Rankings on page 5 dropped to page 13, over night.  Mind you, last year (prior to the penguin update), those page 2 and page 5 rankings were in the top 3 spots on page one.  So its been quite a fall.  We are doing something wrong, and I don't know what it is.  The overnight rankings drop did not correspond with anything we did whatsoever.  They just literally dropped abruptly. here is our site: (redacted for privacy, thanks for answering my question!) here is a sample of a fallen ranking.  Friday, for example, we ranked on page one of google in this search:(redacted)

I am open to ideas, suggestions.  I want to raise our D/A and have worked hard over the last year to do so, but it doesn't seem to be working too well.  Do i have bad inbound links?  Is our site not a quality enough user experience?  Outside advice is well received.  Thank you to anyone who can lend their insight.  🙂

We launched a website in October www.butterfly.com. The branded product name "Butterfly Body Liners" will not rank until page 2 of Google, but it ranks #1 in Bing. Organic traffic never really picked up so it's not easy to tell if it's been "hit" by any penalty. The strange thing is, this website: http://archive.is/PQZdO is ranking #1. This is an archived version of the site. Does anyone have any insight as to why this is happening?

I have a client that wants to add a front page to a website so that when a user visitors the site for the first time a full page advert/message/page appears before they enter the site. The client wants this to be cookie controlled so they only see this on the first visit to the website. I am concerned that even if I put links to a sitemap or xml sitemap on this page that it will affect how well the site performs in search engines. Any ideas/suggestions or experiences? I just came up with my new blog, its not live yet but the 1^st landing page is ready, up and running… all is fine but here is the only problem is its not getting indexed in Google and I am not really sure why? .xml sitemap is there Google webmaster and analytics are there Website contain at least that much real social shares that it should get indexed in Google Few Links may be coming from Famous Bloggers and SEOmoz (both sites are very authentic in their respective domains) It’s the 4 day the website is up I don’t think website is not getting indexed in Google just because it contains 1 landing page and a thank you page!
