Hi there, welcome to Moz! We are glad you are here! Rest assured, getting up to speed on everything Moz has to offer can be overwhelming. Totally normal, so please don't feel bad. To answer your question, yes, we have a step-by-step guide to getting started with Moz Analytics. Moz also hosts webinars for new subscribers every Friday. I highly recommended signing up for a Welcome Webinar. And if you have more questions, please reach out again.

Hi Gloria,
Thanks for reaching out, and sorry for the confusion! By using the 'Add & Manage Page Grades' option, you should be able to add any URL of your choosing along with a specified keyword :). I hope this helps get your page grades back on track! Feel free to let me know if you have any other questions or concerns about this! Have a great day, and happy marketing!
Cheers,
Jordan

Isn't this more to do with the fact that the pages that Moz chooses to grade aren't necessarily the ones that you're optimising, but the ones that you're ranking for in the search results? If your home page is the only page with any authority, you can find it ranking for lots of your main keyword terms.
If the wrong page is ranking you might want to take a look at your site architecture/internal links and the language being used on the page - but be careful, the page ranking might not be a perfect match for the keyword - but it's a whole lot better than having no pages ranking at all!

The grader is just a baseline report generated to give people starting out an idea of why or where their site could use improvement. If you are having issues with a site or URL, I would post it and see what people on here can help with.

LOL. Thanks Don. I'm new to moz and haven't felt this stupid in I don't know how long. Do you know if there's something like a step by step getting started, setting up a campaign - that sort of thing - section? tks!
-
I learned to ignore the auto grade reports a long time ago. I'm sure somewhere somebody has explained what sort of algorithm they use to generate them, but I haven't seen it. Granted, I have really looked either. I'm happy just running my own reports when I see fit.
Good luck,
Don

Why does the moz bar link count differ from the moz link analysis page
Hi all, Why does the Moz Bar show a different link count from the Moz link analysis page? For example, when I check the SERP below, for the first result, the bar shows 936 page links from 4 RDs. But when I check out the link analysis page, it tells me there are just 141 page links from 4 RDs. What gives? For the second entry, the bar shows 6 page links from 0 RDs. Not sure how that's possible. Can anyone explain these things. Thanks! Attempts to fix MOZ recommended issues resulted in drastic ranking drop.
I have a website built in SquareSpace. https://www.ruffhaus.com/ I recently started working with MOZ to track and improve organic SEO. After my initial site crawl, search visibility was reported at a waping 2.38%. Moz showed several critical crawler issues. Most were redirect, 4xx and long URL. So I started working on fixing the redirect and 4xx issues first. I thought this was a good thing. But now my already sad search visibility has dropped to .07% (-95.97%!). I also went from #1 on keyword, brand implementation plan (and 3 variations), to #27. What? Wondering where I went wrong and how to remedy? This is all new to me so I am sure I'm not providing all the info you need to answer my question. Hoping providing the site URL will help. Fire away!

Duplicate page titles reported on same links
Moz is reporting duplicate titles on my clients website, citing different versions of the same link, one without dubs as domain.com/link and the other with dubs as www.domain.com/link. for example ... duplicate title = Warranty Requests For Custom New Home Construction in Jacksonville

http://www.myhjhome.com/new-home-construction-warranty-request.htmlthe links are the same, one is just with www and the other is without. in another example ... Moz reports 5 duplicate titles on the Home page, citing 5 different URLs that all load the same home page ...
duplicate title = Jacksonville Custom Home Builder, Quality Construction On Your Lot

http://myhjhome.com/
http://myhjhome.com/index.php
http://www.myhjhome.com/
http://www.myhjhome.com/index.php is this just something that's always going to be reported as a duplicate title or is there a way for me to change the website so Moz doesnt report a duplicate title on the same page (since there really isnt a duplicate title in these examples)?0
